Harrisville General Store

Harrisville, New Hampshire, est. 1838

The Harrisville (NH) General Store has been in operation as a store since 1838. It is now owned by Historic Harrisville, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of Harrisville's mill town buildings.

Local is not just a word printed on the back of our T-shirts.

In an era when so many small town New England general stores are disappearing, the Harrisville General Store maintains the tradition of being a community meeting place where good food and good coffee are combined with the availability of necessary provisions. “Local” at the Harrisville General Store is a philosophy and a promise; we live in this community, we support the regional grower/maker culture, and we work every day to uphold the unique appeal of small town living in the 21st century.

Through unwavering commitment to high quality ingredients, imaginative preparation, and seasonal sensibilities we offer some of the region’s tastiest delights ranging from our hearty breakfasts and fresh, daily-baked goods, to our inventive lunch and take-out dinner offerings.
